Editing Marketing List Views

Microsoft has always hidden the ability to modify the viewsfor Marketing List views. Almost always my customers are calling me up andasking how to modify the views in Marketing Lists. I hope that this post willhelp everyone out.

First there are three different entities that a Marketinglist can hold. Accounts, Contacts, and Leads. Each one of these entities hasfour views within Marketing List views.

·        Active Members

·        All Members (Default view)

·        Inactive Members

·        Quick Find Marketing List Members

So if you were counting, there are 12 different views thatyou may need to modify. To edit one of these views you will need to openInternet Explorer and use the following URL’s.

In the following table you will need to replacecrm.yourdomain.com with the domain access that you use to connect to CRM. Youwill replace YOUR_ORGANIZATION with the organization you have setup in CRM.Example I connect to CRM with crm.affiliated.com and the organization name isCRM. I would use https://crm.affiliated.com/crm/tools/vieweditor/viewManager.aspx?id={a424ac61-bec9-48b0-a3e0-4bb903bd186e}to edit Account Active Members.
